Editorial and corrections policy
Northstar separates evidence, inference, illustration and promotion so readers can understand what a page establishes—and what it does not. These standards apply to public learning notes, live research briefs and methodology documentation.
Originality and purpose
Public articles are written for Northstar and should contribute an original explanation, engineering perspective or application. External work is summarized in our own words and linked when it materially informs the discussion. A citation acknowledges a source; it does not imply that the cited author endorses Northstar.
Evidence and claims
Observed data, model output, interpretation and illustrative examples are distinguished in the text. Quality scores are not described as win probabilities. Backtests, paper outcomes and live-signal records must not be represented as customer returns, and Northstar does not promise profit, signal frequency or future performance.
Automation disclosure
Some learning notes are drafted and published through an automated editorial scheduler using a planned topic ledger. They may not receive pre-publication human review. Live research briefs are generated from stored, versioned signal records. Automation does not make a claim authoritative; readers should inspect linked sources, methodology and limitations.
Sources and named researchers
Names are used sparingly and only when a researcher or primary work is relevant to the specific method being explained. Northstar does not imply employment, partnership, sponsorship or endorsement by a cited person, institution, exchange or platform.
Commercial separation
Subscription calls to action and paid referral links are labeled and kept distinct from editorial conclusions. Compensation does not change a stored signal, the deterministic qualification rules or the outcome label. Referral relationships are described in the affiliate disclosure.
Corrections and historical integrity
Readers may report a possible error to guanvireak@gmail.com. Material article corrections should be dated or described. Immutable signal IDs, original levels, model versions and outcome records are not rewritten after the market moves; explanatory context may be added without altering the historical decision record.
