Privacy notice

Vireak Kuon operates this service and processes only the information needed for subscriptions, delivery, security and auditable model governance. Privacy requests may be sent to guanvireak@gmail.com.

New paid enrollment is paused until the operator identity, contact, governing-law and written provider-approval records are complete. Existing member access is unaffected.

Information collected

For website members, the service stores email address, platform sign-in identifier, marketing consent, subscription and entitlement status, billing-provider references, email delivery events, Telegram user/chat identifiers and username after voluntary private-bot linking, one-time link records, operator audit records, and aggregate daily exchange-link counts. Telegram controls paid-channel membership and Stars payments; Northstar posts to the private channel but does not receive card details from Telegram. The service does not request exchange credentials, trading-account data, or store visitor identity with exchange-link counts.

How information is used

Information is used to operate the authenticated member workspace, provide paid email and Telegram signals, send the free brief, administer billing, prevent duplicate delivery, reconcile access, respond to support, maintain security and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations. Market feature snapshots, pre-outcome model scores and resolved signal outcomes are stored to audit and improve the adaptive model; they are not used to make decisions about an individual subscriber. Marketing email requires an affirmative opt-in and includes an unsubscribe mechanism.

Service providers

Freemius processes website subscriptions and entitlements. Resend processes per-recipient email delivery and suppression events. Telegram processes private bot messages and, for channel-only customers, Stars billing, recurring channel access and membership. The hosting and sign-in platform stores application records. OKX public production endpoints supply market data and instrument classifications. Linked exchanges receive normal connection information when a visitor opens their page and process it under their own terms and privacy practices.

Advertising, cookies and consent

Northstar may use Google AdSense to help fund public research. When Google advertising code is enabled, Google and its advertising partners may collect, share and use information through cookies, web beacons, IP addresses or other identifiers to serve, limit and measure advertising. Third parties may place and read cookies in a visitor’s browser as a result of ad serving. Google explains how it uses information from partner sites at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Northstar does not intentionally send a subscriber’s name, email address or other directly identifying account data to Google through ad requests or page URLs. Before advertising is served where consent is required, Northstar will use a Google-certified consent-management platform to request the applicable choices and provide a way to revisit or withdraw them. Google advertising will not be activated for those visitors until that configuration is in place.

Retention and security

Newsletter confirmation records expire after 24 hours and are purged after their short operational retention period. Request-rate counters are purged after seven days, processed webhook records after 90 days, completed queue records after 30 days, open-interest snapshots after 30 days and anonymous exchange-click aggregates after approximately 26 months. Subscriber, billing, signal and delivery audit records are retained only while required to provide the service, resolve disputes and meet applicable accounting or recordkeeping duties. Webhook signatures, server-side authorization, least-privilege secrets and immutable audit records reduce risk, but no system is perfectly secure.

Choices and rights

Recipients can unsubscribe from the weekly marketing brief independently of paid signal delivery. Freemius members can pause signal email in the authenticated workspace and can send /stop to pause private Telegram messages without changing billing. Stars channel subscribers manage recurring access in Telegram and can send /paysupport for support instructions. Depending on location, individuals may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or export personal information and to complain to a regulator. Requests may be sent to guanvireak@gmail.com.
